Sharks maul Bulldogs to scoreless win
Round 6 saw Shellharbour Sharks hosting Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs, and it didn't disappoint.
It was the Women in League Round for South Coast Group 7, and their first-grade match was an absolute belter.
Shellharbour kicked off to Milton, but after that first set, it was all Sharks ball, with Shellharbour opening the scoring in just the second minute of the match, with the kick deflection catch and put down efforts of Prop Marty Cramp.
It was then a fairly intense match until Shellharbour broke the scoring again in the 29th minute, this time through the leg-strength efforts of centre Malokai Tomo. Shellharbour took a steady 12-0 lead at halftime.
The second half was chalk and cheese in comparison to the first; both sides were not giving an inch until finally Milton-Ulladulla's defence cracked in the 77th minute, and a try to winger Jye Brooker, after the Sharks provided three cut out, passes to get to him in the corner,
Brooker dived over for a four pointer. The full-time score at Ron Costello Oval was 16-0, and the home side claimed victory.
